With opposite hand, reach over head and pull up and back on outer ear to straighten ear canal.
Quickly insert earplug well into ear canal and hold in until it expands for a comfortable, secure fit.
WARNING: Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness and could result in hearing loss or injury.
*Discard after several uses or as soon as dirt or wax accumulates on earplugs.
What are the foam earplugs made of and do they contain latex?
The earplugs are made of urethane foam. The "latex" in our foam earplugs is not natural latex, it is a synthetic latex technically called an emulsion polymer. It has the same properties as latex (water based, adhesive, etc.) but does not have the enzyme problem associated with natural latex.

Can the earplugs be cleaned?
No. If these earplugs become soiled, they should be disposed of.
Besides reducing noise, can these earplugs be used to seal out water?
No. These earplugs were specifically designed to provide superior protection against noise. For water protection, we recommend that you try one of Mack's® moldable silicone or pre-molded flanged earplug products.
Are there any application tips to help me get a proper seal with the earplugs?
First try re-inserting the earplugs after carefully re-reading the directions. Be sure to insert the plug while pulling (with the opposite hand) up and back on the outer ear to straighten the ear canal. If you are still unsuccessful with a plug that has now warmed to body temperature, try another "cooler" plug. A plug that is cooler in temperature will retain its compressed shape and rigidity slightly longer, sometimes making it easier to insert. A sign that the earplug is sealing properly is that your own voice will sound more internal and exaggerated.

Sound blocked effectively but hurt my ears for some reason

Great product that really does block a lot of noise. Unfortunately, they are too big for my ear canals and are almost impossible to get in. After many tries I did get them in but way too tight and could only tolerate them for a while. Since bought the purple ones which are slimmer. Still difficult to get in but they do work and once in block a lot of noise.

I can hear my neighbour snoring through a common wall, all night long. I’ve tried white noise apps, machines, tv on highest volume, other ear plugs. Nothing else blocks out the sound. Other than these earplugs.
I put them in and all I can hear are my thoughts and the white noise inside my head. I don’t want to have to sleep with ear plugs in for the foreseeable future, but at least they actually block out the annoying, constant noise that prevented me from sleeping. Definitely give them a go if you are struggling to sleep due to excessive noise.

Significantly cuts down noise when correctly inserted, whole night use can lead to discomfort, I have to reorder these a bit but they are more comfortable than the reusable ones.

After reading some great reviews, I ordered. I have been wearing earplugs for about 7 years now (Husband is a snorer) I have been using the Hearos brand all these years and decided to try these. Unfortunately these made my ears ache so much. While they helped reduce noise, unfortunately from a comfort point they hurt. Can't use them at all.

I purchased the green, snore blocker ear plugs. They reduced my boyfriend's thunder snoring to the level of next-door-neighbour snoring so I am able to sleep better now.

I've tried all manner of ear plugs for sleeping, including some very expensive ones, and these are by far the best
These really work. My wife snores and I am a light sleeper, so I have been desperate to find something that allows us to keep sleeping together. I've used silicone plugs, but they caused really bad ear-wax build up and lots of pain. I've bought some expensive ones that block the noise amazingly well, but cause me severe pain when wearing them so I couldn't sleep. These fit well, cause minimal pain if not quite in the right spot but can be carefully adjusted to fix this and block the noise enough to allow me to sleep through all but the worst of the snoring (she has asthma which can make the snoring extra loud) but are absolutely effective for 98% of the time. I love these, they allow us to keep sleeping together. They are becoming difficult to find in chemists, so on-line is the best way to get them. They arrived quickly. I find that one set lasts for about two weeks before getting too soft (to allow easy fitting). Please please please don't stop making these wonderful ear-plugs.

Fantastic product, works better in the first two weeks or so from when new, but I've had success even with the old sets I find around the place in travel bags and whatnot, great product and made my living situation a lot more bearable. Like any foam ear plug usage is about 1 to 2 weeks before they start to lose elasticity

Provided they are inserted so they seal the ear canal, the snore blockers do block out moderate snoring and reduce louder 'snorts'. To ensure there are no gaps, I find it is essential to pull on back of ear with one hand while inserting rolled earplug well into ear canal with the other.

Maybe I have strange ear canals but I just can't get these to fit. After multiple tries of rolling and then inserting them into my ears they just pop out. The cheap ones from the chemist fit better.

They change your life. I can now sleep in the same room as my snoring husband.
They do block out all noise making for good sleep. Please keep making them. Hard to find in shops if you run out and have forgotten to order on line.

I am deaf in one ear and sleep with my good ear on the pillow but my wifes snoring sometimes gets through the pillow to my good ear. So I plug the good ear and this blocks out any noise and the plug is comfortable against the pillow. Many thanks Macks

My husband has tried many different types of ear plugs, over many years, without any success, but I must say his problem has been solved. We were not convinced, really, that these ear plugs would really work. Well worth the cost. Keep them available on-line, please!!

Incredible noise blocking but a little big uncomfortable
These earplugs block out ALL sound. They are incredible, but when sleeping on your side they do make my ear ache a bit. Not sure if this is because of the circumference size or the foam density. At any rate, they definitely block out snoring (and any other noise that happens to be about).

I have hunted all over for these earplugs and was pleased to see them available on line. They really block out my partner's snores, don't fall out, and are soft enough to be comfortable all night. Tried the dream girl as well, but the snore blockers were a better fit.

I am a Snorer and purchased these for my husband as he continually complains about his broken sleep due to me snoring. Unfortunately they made no difference at all. I tried them and could hear everything. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Sleep Solutions - it maybe that you are not fitting them correctly getting a proper seal - foam earplugs can be tricky to insert correctly. The alternative is to use the silicone putty earplugs which are much easier to fit and get a good seal.

I'm an incredibly light sleeper so these are fabulous for me. The dogs bark half the night, next door. The other neighbour enjoys partying well into the wee hours of the morning so these have been a blessing.

They are more comfortable than regular ear plugs, however do not block out my snoring partner. They do dull the sound, but certainly don't block it. I have bought ear plugs from Bunnings with a 25db rating that do a better job, and are cheaper.

I am actually not sure what the difference is between the different coloured ones of these, I have owned (and continue to buy) all of them and other than colour and the name of the product there doesn't seem to be a difference - they all feel the same. Which by the way is really comfortable, even when worn all night (as long as you insert them properly of course). These are the only brand of earplugs I recommend to friends for sleeping :)
