I love these sleep masks but the backing comes loose and ends up detaching itself completely from mask, it ends up being joined only at either end. I tried cutting it off to continue using the mask, but the foam feels uncomfortable on my face.

While the quality of the build of the product was good, no matter how hard I tried I could not stop a significant amount of light leaking around the nose area. Which is not good for a person required to sleep during the day. In the end I went back a to $5 cheapie that I got from the local chemist.

Other masks I've had seem breathable- this one keeps all your air and heat in.
YMMV, but for me it was impossible to sleep with these on given how hot and stuffy it felt on my eyes & brow

I have bought 5 Dreamweaver sleep masks so far. Have given two away but the two I have been using have come apart - i.e. the lining fabric comes away from the outer mask. I complained once before & got a replacement but it is still happening. I have 1 mask still that I haven't used.

This is the second of these I have purchased. The contoured eye cups do not contact the eyes and the mask is comfortable to wear. I use them on long distance plane travel and the true blackout allows me to sleep more than I had in the past with the flat mask. My first pair lasted about 3 years with the only negatives being that firstly, the elastics became perished and secondly, the lining inside the contoured eye cups came loose and irritated the eyes. Hence the 4 star rating for what otherwise is a 5 star product.

I’ve tried several different eye masks but this is the first contoured one I’ve tried. The first night the straps kept digging in to my head and I couldn’t get the mask comfy on my face. So I took it off after a few hours. But I persevered and loosened the straps so they sit together loosely but still hold the mask on. The mask does move a little during the night, especially as I’m a side sleeper so does need readjusting but I’ve never been someone who sleeps through the night without waking up several times anyway. It blocks light really well if it’s in the right position and the space for eyelashes is good too. Definitely worth a try!

I am still getting used to my new mask. I do a lot of nightshifts and use a mask and earplugs to sleep in the day . The mask does have a little gape at the side of my nose but the ear plugs are the best I’ve ever used Sound blocking wise.

Having read all the reviews on different sleep masks and almost going with Buck's 40 Blinks, I decided to buck the trend and try the Mack's Dreamweaver mask as I have been 100% satisfied with the Mack's silicone ear plugs. Most of the Dreamweaver reviews were by blokes and, since I have a larger head size, there was my second reason. Right decision. This mask ticks all the boxes - comfortable, effective, plain black and even looks good with its little Dreamweaver insignia, and it's easy to use. If you're a back sleeper it's your perfect mask - no light. If you're a side sleeper it's as perfect as you're going to get as no mask of this moulded type can block out 100% once some pressure is applied to the side of the mould. But the leakage is minimal and that's without tightening the straps which I haven't even tried doing yet. This last is the only reason I haven't given the mask 5 stars but it's at least a 4 +.

Great for comfort & shutting out light but inner lining starting coming off at top and bottom which defeated the purpose as it fell onto face. Company replaced it quickly.

Excellent product, convenient straps and very comfy
I was originally concerned about the straps at the back, given some of the comments here. Previously, my sleep masks have come with velcro straps that do not last long and tend to be uncomfortable. However this item has adjustable straps that are slim line and are hardly noticeable and can easily be adjusted. Great product, thank you

Very comfortable and blocks out all the light. People who find this uncomfortable must be very sensitive/fussy because I think it's great. Has improved the quality of my sleep considerably and makes napping much easier too.

The edges are really hard and press into my face at night. The straps sit too low and have to go over my ears which causes pain throughout the night. There are also plastic bits in the strap (like a bra strap) and as a side-sleeper, these push into my head and cause pain. I am going to have to sew on a new strap myself as it's unbearable as it is.

I think this is an excellent product. It leaves enough space for your eyes to be opened / blink without putting any pressure on the eye lids. Others have commented on the straps being an issue but i didn't find this to be a problem. There are two straps. I bring the bottom strap up higher on the back of my head and it seems to stay in place all night. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because some light does still creep on around the bridge of my nose.

For someone who is claustrophobic, this mask has been an absolute win for me with the mask designed to stand away from the eyes. I am also finally having good night's sleep as it completely blocks out the light.

We live next door to an apartment block that leave bright lights on all night. The light seeps through into our bedroom, which lights up our room.
We are now having good quality sleep by wearing these super comfy eye patches!
I like the way this masks fits around my face, and it does black light out completely. I'm not so happy about the strap: as others have mentioned, a single strap is not ideal, as it sits on a weird spot, and the mask tends to slip off in the middle of the night.

Thinking I would be getting a better product by paying more, I must admit that I was disappointed with this mask. Seeing that many claimed that it was designed more for men due to its size, I thought it would be great for me being a male in my 30's. The mask fitted okay but leaked light and the nose, and the design does not allow you to mold or adjust to your face for a better fit.
The biggest issue though was the positioning of the strap. The single strap has been sewn directly level with the mid line of the mask. This means that you can have the strap going over your ears (highly uncomfortable), under your ears where it slips to the nape of you neck and falls off, or you can put the strap over the top of the ears, but the angle of the strap causes it to cut into the skin where you ear meets your scalp. Unfortunately another example of where a manufacturer has designed something on paper without doing real life fitting and testing (I am an ergonomist so I see this quite a bit it is sad to say).
The free cheap mask mask they give on international flights is easily better than this mask. A big disappointment.
The Go to Sleep mask I bought at the same time on this site was a lot better, and even though I believe it is designed more for use on planes where you are sitting up due to its bulkier nature, it was still a much more comfortable fit, and it sealed out the light, allowing for a great sleep.

So pleased with this product I bought one each for my 2 grand-daughters and a girlfriend. I actually went to sleep with the light on because the mask is so effective at blocking light. Could do with making smaller sizes is my only grizzle.

Quite comfortable but the mask is quite large made more for male faces if you sleep on your side the mask gets in the way as mine raps further around my face than i had hoped. It would be good if there was a smaller sized mask.

I like how it keeps the mask off your eyes. Very comfortable. Minimal light through the nose guard. Velcro strap a little uncomfortable when lying on your back. I will still use this mask though. It's good value.

I bought a similar sleep mask from Hong Kong for $2.59 inc. postage (& earplugs). It's almost the same except with shallower eye pockets and a taller nose section. It leaks light as the nose section is not deep enough for my nose, and it has a single wide strap with a velcro attachment that slips up when I sleep.I purchased the Dreamweaver hoping it would be better as it is shown in the picture with two thin straps which I thought would be less ikely to slip off. The Dreamweaver I recieved has a single wide strap with velcro in the middle the same as the $2.59 one, so it also slips up and off. The nose section of the Dreamweaver is also not deep enough causing gaps either side of my nose allowing light in. The eye pockets are deep and therefore comfortable. The Dreamweaver cost me $27.90 and is better than the $2.59 one due to the deeper eye pockets, but not $25.31 better. Now wondering if the 40 Blinks is better?

Does all it claims in the ads: Best bit, after the total blackout, is the lack of heating under the mask--no heat rash, and a great night's sleep; at last.

First time in years to have an unbroken deep sleep. I have awoken this morning completely refreshed. Actually bounced out of bed. I found the mask very comfortable and as I do toss and turn around 2-4am I awoke feeling as though I had a gym workout! Thanks.

Very comfortable, great light blackout. Long lasting, I've been wearing mine every night for 12 months and it's also been thrown in my bag a fair few times for trips away and it's only just starting to get damaged (the layers of the mask are separating).

Purchased as a gift for my hubby who always sleeps with an eye mask.
In the past he has used eye masks souvenired from flights!
Honestly, he has been raving about the comfort of the "Dreamweaver". Certainly lives up to it's name!!!
Night night.

This is a great eye mask, it conforms to the nose and with the raised areas over the eyes I never get watery eyes anymore. It fits so snuggly I would recommend to anyone.
