Charging Instructions
1.
Open the hook and loop at the back of the headband. Remove the Bluetooth module by unplugging it from the speakers
2.
Plug the micro-USB cable into the micro-USB port on the Bluetooth Module. Plug the micro-USB cable into the USB port on your computer or any USB wall adapter - a solid red light will appear during charging
3.
The module is fully charged when the red light disappears. We recommend charging after every use (charging typically takes up to 3 hours)

How to use SleepPhones with Bluetooth:
- Press and hold for 5 seconds the button on the Bluetooth receiver located inside the headband
- Perform the pairing procedure on your Bluetooth device
- Flexible headband is easy to slip on and off—simply position the headphones at your ears, and the headband stays in place
Pairing Instructions
- Remove the Bluetooth module from the hook & loop opening at the back of the headband.
- Hold down the square button for 5 seconds until you hear ascending tones through the speakers followed by a series of double beeps & a fast blinking red light. Must be 3 ft (1m) of your device.
- On your device, make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Look for 'ACOUSTICSHEEP' & select to pair. Pairing may take up to 30 seconds.
Care Instructions
The headbands are machine washable. This is important to do from time to time to keep it clean and prevent stretching.
- Remove the speakers through the hook and loop opening located in the back of the headband before washing.
- Machine wash warm. Tumble dry medium. Do not iron, bleach, or dry clean. Avoid fabric softener which reduces wicking.
- Insert the speakers when the band is dry (right speaker has red stitching and the left speaker has green stitching, gray side should be against your ears) then insert the gray square before closing the hook and loop
- Lastly, adjust to fit.
Plug Instructions
Please be careful when plugging the MicroUSB charging cable and speakers into the Bluetooth® module. You will notice the plugs on the charging cable and speakers have a wider part with two little prongs sticking out of the surface, this is the top. The top should be facing you when plugging into the module. The top of the module will have the buttons and the word "AcousticSheep" visible. The buttons and "AcousticSheep" should be facing you when plugging in the charging cable and speakers. Failure to do so could damage the inside of the module causing charging issues or sound issues.
Tips on how to prolong the life of your SleepPhones
- Grasp and pull on the plug and not the cord.
- Allow the headband to fully dry before placing components back inside.
- Do not keep components in a wet, oily, or dirty headband.
- Avoid excessive bending near the speaker plug area.
- Keep the wires free of tangles or knots.
- SleepPhones recommend an adapter with an output of 5V (standard for USB) and only 1000mA in the "User Guide"
- Older USB wall adapters tend to provide lower amperage, which may charge the unit slower but helps to prolong battery life. The newer USB wall adapters match the bigger batteries in the latest phones but are a bit overpowered for small batteries.
- SleepPhones also recommend charging for at least 3 hours after every use to ensure a full battery for your next use.
Sizing
When selecting your SleepPhones size, refer to the table below to find the corresponding size for your head circumference.
Measure around the forehead, just above the ears, and around the hair in the back to determine head size.
Remember, it's crucial to measure your head accurately to ensure a comfortable and secure fit, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep with your SleepPhones.

Are the speakers relatively flat?
The speakers are not completely flat, but are very thin discs that are enclosed in felt. The speakers are a special design made exclusively for us by a company that also makes high-end audiophile quality speakers. We cannot claim audiophile status, but most people are pleasantly impressed with the sound quality. Most people cannot feel them when sleeping on their side.
What products are compatible with SleepPhones®?
Smartphones, iPods, MP3 players, computers, tablet, radios, CD players and noise machines will work with SleepPhones®. For the wired models, devices need to have a standard 3.5mm jack. To use the wireless model, devices must have Bluetooth® capability for pairing.
Can you still hear an alarm clock while using SleepPhones®?
Yes, users will be able to hear an alarm clock. It will only be slightly muffled by the fabric around the ears. We feel that being able to hear a fire alarm or a child monitor in the middle of the night is important. SleepPhones® were designed to be noise blocking, not noise canceling.
Can SleepPhones® be used for purposes other than sleep?
Absolutely! Since the speakers have a full frequency response, SleepPhones® can be used to listen to music, meditation, hypnosis, self-improvement, biofeedback, audiobooks, or podcasts. They are a great travel companion!
Can SleepPhones® be used by someone who is hard of hearing or who uses hearing aids?
SleepPhones® can play music quite loudly, so users can turn up the volume to compensate for mild hearing loss. For customers listening to music utilizing the binaural beats technology, the benefit may not work as well if the hearing loss is not the same in the left and right ears since the binaural beats are based on a stereo sound principle.
Many people with hearing aids have reported that SleepPhones® work well with them. However, SleepPhones® do not have the T-switch technology. Individual results will vary.

Great Alternative to Ear Buds
Great alternative to ear buds which I cannot wear for longer than 3 hours. I can wear the headband all night without any issues because it is comfortable, has good sound quality, and an excellent battery life. Very good for quiet audio iand is comfortable if you are a side sleeper. I would purchase again if needed. It is a bit clunky to charge and for me did not automatically connect via Bluetooth (although connected well manually). Avoid cheap brands. You won’t be sorry - like I was
Got the cordless (bluetooth) version. Expensive, yes, but works very well. I have bought a much cheaper brand elsewhere but a false economy. The charging socket in them failed after a short time. These are comfortable to wear, the sound quality is good and a charged battery lasts at least twelve hours - I haven’t tried ithem continuously for longer. Spare parts (if needed) are also available.

Not worth the money
In 3 years I've had to replace the speakers once and the battery module twice! The head band that's supposed to breathe, actually caused a fungal infection in my ears because they do not breathe even after washing them every morning! Made my own headband and problem resolved so definitely their material.

I can't recommend this product
It is way more difficult to use than the cheaper bletooth headphone I have. My Sleepphones are difficult to link to bluetooth, I need to ask the device to forget the headphones and completely reconnect all the time. The bluetooth module needs to be readjusted all the time as it can move around in the headband. The sound quality is pretty good once you manage to get it to connect.

Effective but a bit pricey
Pros: they've improved my ability to get to, and get back to, sleep when I wake up. I've found them really effective. They're lightweight and I've found them comfortable for side-sleeping. The product also seems to hold a charge for quite a long time. Postage was very efficient.
Cons: $179.95 is quite a lot for what it is--a couple of small speakers in a headband with a bluetooth module. Sometimes difficult to find the buttons beneath the fabric. Sound quality isn't amazing but it's what you'd expect from speakers embedded in a headband rather than a traditional headphone.

Uncomfortable and hard to adjust
So as detailed in another review they are hard to adjust. They are also quite uncomfortable imo. The two little speakers in the headband are quite hard/inflexible and the Bluetooth module doesn't feel completely comfortable either. Because they are just in a headband there is no padding or anything to cushion them which results in mild discomfort after prolonged use (since they are pressed up against your ears). They woke me up in the night due to the discomfort. I got these because they are advertised as being really comfortable and didn't realise they might not be comfortable for everyone.

Game changer
These are life changing for someone with sensory issues. They truly feel like a headband but have speakers! The charge seems to be good for days surprisingly! And to recharge, it only takes about an hour at most. I guess my only concern is having Bluetooth on my head all the time, but for someone with severe noise Sensory issues, it might be the lesser of two evils. There is a wired alternative which may be an option at night for me, but I’m not sure how the leads would affect my sleep also. I hope this review helps. I think it would be a fantastic option for a child with sensory issues. Please note that the sizing is quite loose. I ordered medium and I mean, it’s fine, but if you want a more snug fit, you might prefer a size down potentially. I ordered the one that isn’t fluffy/fleecy. I would suggest this is best as you’re wearing it against your skin and I feel like fleece would cause sweating. There are no itchy things on it to cause triggers.

Not great, not terrible. Overpriced
They do the job, but not very well. It's essentially just a regular fabric headband with space inside it for some small speakers attached to a bluetooth module to be shoved in. The problem is there's nothing holding them in place, so the 'headphones' (really they're just tiny speaker diaphrams) shift around constantly and have to be adjusted, which is difficult because you can't actually see where they are, and adjusting them consists of just kind of pressing on the side of them and hoping they move in the direction you want them to. Similar issue with the bluetooth module itself - you have to just kind of feel around for where the buttons on it are, and hope you're pressing the right one.

Unhappy with the quality of the product for the price
I purchase this product same time last year. About 3 month in to using the head phones the grip on the back of the battery module peeled off. Without the grip the battery module is loose in the headband and will often shift around inside the headband and some times cover the speaker. I continue to use the headphones until the battery module stopped turning on. I charged it but still did not work. I am unhappy with the quality of the product for the price I paid.

Not worth the money
This was my second headband brand. First, it's not wide enough to cover your eyes. The module is on the back of the band, not the front. So when you lie on your back to sleep you can feel the module pressing on your neck. It's the stupidest design ever.

Pretty Average quality
I have now bought 4 of these in 4 years spending near $900. The plug that charges it lasts around 3-9 months each time before failing. I have sent the module back and asked for replacement modules 3 times only to be told to be more careful when charging. What is the point of designing a product that repeatedly fails. Look elsewhere. I also had the wireless charging module that failed after 14 months and stopped charging. Pretty disappointed especially as they are so over priced for what you get.

Excellent for helping cover noisy neighbours
I bought the Effortless 2 years ago and it still give me 10 hours battery life after charging. I link to my tablet, set and forget all night. Have sewn extra padding over the ear area on the band, easy to do, and also around the speakers on the inside for extra padding. I have sensitive ears to touch, but these are still amazing and I use them every night.

I have tried 2 other cheaper wireless headbands and I can honestly say these are a far better design. I love them, the ear pads are flat and much more comfortable to sleep with. I have a small head and previous bands were too big. The small size fits me perfectly. I really like that all the individual parts can be purchased separately, so you only replace what you need.

I use headband earphones on a daily basis for listening to audio books, and love these. My only issue is with moving forward and back chapters, I keep lowering and raising the volume instead of moving backward and forward no matter how much I double tap the controls. ONE day after warranty the battery puffed up ready to explode!
Had these headphones for a year, they were fine, slipped around my head but did the job. Fast forward a year, I go to plug them in and notice the battery has all puffed up in its casing ready to explode!!! I could have been asleep on that, with it wrapped around my head!
I have done no harm to the headphones, haven't left the battery on charge overly long, kept them out of sunlight/damp etc.

Size Issue
I ended up purchasing the large size headband and sadly it was still a small fit. If you are a guy with a large head, the Large size may not be suitable for you. I found that I could not position the headphones over my ears properly as the head phone pieces could not be evenly placed apart so they both go over my ears. If one side was over my ear perfectly, the other would be either half over or just over my ear no matter how many times I tried adjusting their position. Even when they are close enough to my ears, the head band strap ends up going over my eyes rather than hairline. If I tried to move the headband up and position it so one end is on my hair line, the head phone end ends up not going over my ears. On the positive side, they Bluetooth works great and so is the sound quality. I wish you could get separate extra large head band.

My partner bought these for me for Christmas so I could listen to my favourite audiobooks/TV shows while drifting off to sleep without disturbing him. Overall, they are great quality. They are reasonably comfortable too - the device that sits of your forehead takes some getting used to (a few nights), but overall, not too bulky. The headphones are very comfortable for sleeping on your side. I wish it was easier to switch the sleep phones between bluetooth devices (e.g., phone vs. iPad), but this is a minor complaint. Also, be careful not to wash the sleep phones with your sheets as they will need replacing!! (talking from experience). Overall, I (and my partner) are very happy with these phones and would buy again (which we already have due to said washing machine incident!!).

I am a side, back, stomach sleeper, which makes these sleep phones brilliant for retraining my subconscious while I drift off to sleep. The quality isn't as good as my Sony headphones, but that could be because they are not pressed tightly against my ears. I do find the grey fleece a bit hot. The medium grey fleece is tighter than the medium blue summer band I bought. I can easily tighten the band though. Very happy with my purchase.

Better than the cheapies
I bought a couple of cheaper versions before buying sleepphones. The first worked for two nights, the next a month. When I first opened the sleepphones I was worried they were cheaply made too, but after actually putting them on I realised they were much more comfortable and had a much better sound quality.
Its been a bit over a month so they have also lasted the longest and no signs of stopping yet! Don't bother getting a cheap version, get these! (Posted on )

Not what I wanted
I definitely ordered this for a specific reason so take my review with a grain of salt. I already sleep with ear plugs in but i bought this thinking it might be able to drown out the last bit of my partners snoring that I still hear through my earplugs but unfortunately it just didn't deliver. It is comfortable to sleep in, even for side sleepers. The band is a loose fit so it did sit across my eyes but I liked that. The sound leaks It's very loud to people that may be sharing the room with you while not being that loud for yourself. Overall I'm just disappointed that I didn't receive the result I have been desperately searching for however for people that just want comfy headphones they are pretty decent

Bat researcher/IT all-rounder
Good product. The headband fits comfortably with headphones that don't hurt my head (which is quite sensitive). The downsides: Removing the Bluetooth component for charging is awkward (and most of the time it doesn't need charging anyhow), the components tend to slide around inside the headband during normal use, making it necessary to reposition them next night. With everything hidden inside the headband, it's not possible to tell at a glance whether the phones are on or off. Finally, even the lighter-weight Breeze fabric is still uncomfortably warm for our tropical climate. To reiterate : Good product but not great - needs some rethinking.

These headphones are OK probably not worth the $150 I paid, now I see they have a new model for $99... which I would have been happier to pay. Sound quality is good though. A bit uncomfortable to wear all night and constantly readjusting position of speakers and control module as they move around a lot. Battery has so far lasted ages as I only use at bedtime. Got the breathable fabric but I think the fleece fabric would have been better.

Good product, poor delivery
I have had this product before and it works well, but is very expensive for what it is - however, I tried a cheaper brand and the speakers weren't flat enough so I just bit the bullet and paid the money for another set of Sleep Phones as they do work. My last set was a Classic hooked up to my phone, but my new phone doesn't have a headphone jack, so this time I got the bluetooth version. The speakers stopped working in my last set which lasted a couple of years, so I hope for the price this one lasts longer. The bluetooth box is a bit chunky on the top of the band, so I can't use it as an eye mask which I used to do as it lies over one eyeball! So I have to use a separate mask which is a bit fiddly. However, it is a good product and it works well. The poor delivery was Australia Post, they took 17 days to deliver it which was frustrating as I was hanging out for it to arrive but it's Covid so you can't complain.

Given the price of this, I expected a better quality product. The control/charging pad is flimsy (especially the charging point), so I wonder how long it will last. Also it's uncomfortable if sleeping on back- the charging pad sticks in your head. Good features are the speaker sound quality, the lightweight fabric and fit.

Alright but not great
They do not block out snoring at all. I found that main part that sits at the back of your neck can be uncomfortable when sleeping on my back but the speaker parts are ok when sleeping on my side. I love how long they last. I wish the speakers did move around so much but I am a restless sleeper.

This product promised to be high quality and comfortable. When I received it I was surprised at the poor quality of it and after using it now for a month or so, I am really unhappy with how uncomfortable it is. The quality of the sound is great and also the battery life but the speakers are hard and really hurt your ears. There is no comfortable way to sleep on your side with the headband on so it is restrictive. I would have thought at such a high price point I would be very happy with this product but instead I am very disappointed.

Not the best for severe tinnitus
I bought this to help me sleep with my tinnitus, however as soon as the headband covered my ears my tinnitus became very loud and I needed to raise the volume very high in order to mask out my tinnitus problem. Which made it hard to sleep, defeating the purpose.
Maybe if your tinnitus is not as loud this headband will do the trick, but for me it just didn't work.

I like to listen to music or meditation at night to send me to sleep and have struggled with in-ear buds, as they always felt uncomfortable or fell out. This headband solves that problem, and I've found it very comfortable with good sound quality. The only issue is that it's quite tricky getting the battery unit in and out of the headband and I struggle to find the controls once the unit is in the headband. Agree with others that a bit more padding would be good, but then it would probably be even harder to find the controls. But overall am very happy with the product.

Absolutely fantastic product, for those saying the quality is cheap, I would say you have no idea. I have owned cheap ones and I can tell you, the quality in these is far superior. The sound is fantastic, the speakers are barely noticeable and the battery life is great. I leave them on all night with white noise or relaxing soundscapes running. If I forget to charge it, it'll usually go another night before it switches itself off. Love them.

Ear phones are finicky
The flat ear pieces are tricky to get in place and seem to move out of place every time you have to recharge the unit. Hope there is a trick that I work out soon. Not as user friendly as I had hoped.

Kinda works but poor quality
I find it easy enough to use but worry about breaking it each time I remove the plug to charge it - very cheaply made and not worth $150. I’m actually embarrassed to have spent so much on something that should not be more than $20

Sooo good!
Upgraded from the corded version (excellent as well) to cordless. Great investment. Delivery super fast, sound great, comfort very good (I wear the battery pack at the top). The three buttons on the battery pack are very easy to navigate to adjust sound and turn on/off. When I turn them off each time I use them they stay charged for a week. Very happy !! Gifted my Dad the corded ones -both he (and my Mum) love them...she doesn’t have to listen to his noise anymore.

Not enough padding for side sleeping
The Product itself is simple to use and overall user friendly.
My issue was that when I used the headband to sleep on my side the speakers would hurt my ears and the headband would move around on my head during the night, and the size appears to be correct. So much better to sleeping on your back. (Posted on )

Low quality - not what I expected
I wouldn’t normally write a review but every single day I kept getting an email asking me to review this product. So, here’s the truth.
It’s basically a shitty sweat headband that someone has put two tiny little devices into slits carved out where your ears might be. They move around in the middle of the night so one ear will get the white noise and the other one gets the snoring partner in bed next to me. This makes me wake up as I have to adjust a headband. The headband also slides all over my head.
I tried asking for a refund within two business days of having it and they said no due to hygienic factors.
It’s pretty unfortunate given these amazing reviews. I’m pretty sure these are not all real reviews. The little earpieces move all around inside this headband and no way are you going to get both of them perfectly positioned on your ears all night long.
Prepare to spend $150 and still hear all the annoying noises around you in your room you were trying to block out.

The concept is good however they just slip off my head. A bit of a fiddle to start with to get the speakers in the right position but once there they have a good sound and do help me go to sleep. If I don’t clip them on in three places they end up around my eyes. I have a small to very small headband so the size is not the problem.
Delivery was prompt as I paid the extra for quick delivery and ordering was straight forward and easy.

These SleepPhones were to replace my original corded SleepPhones that I had purchased a couple of years ago. Being wireless, there's so much more freedom, I can use them throughout the day, not just at bedtime. The downside is that you have to remember to charge it up again.

Expensive but worth it
This is a great product! I used to often wake up for 30-90 minutes in the middle of the night, which affected my mood and productivity the next day. These headphones have allowed me to listen to podcasts to quiet the chatter inside my mind in the middle of the night. Now I fall asleep before the 15 minute sleep timer turns off. Traditional earbuds were not comfortable to lay on and the wires would always get tangled around my neck as I changed positions. I used to sleep on the couch in order to hear the podcast on speaker on not disturb my partner. Yes, these headphones are expensive, but I use them every night and they make such a difference. I definitely don't feel the speakers or the bluetooth module when I sleep on my side or back respectively - really comfortable. You do want to charge it every day (short charging time!), because I believe there is a low battery sound which has actually woken me up in the middle of the night once, and no one wants that.

SleepPhones have changed my life
I have always had terrible insomnia, and small noises when I am trying to get to sleep really irritate me (mild partner snoring, traffic noise). Now that I have a pair of SleepPhones, I actually look forward to going to bed, it is so much less stressful. They block out all the little annoying noises. I listen to some soothing sleep programs and usually drift off in about 15 mins. If I wake up, I just pop a program back on, I don't lie there tossing and turning.
I wear the SleepPhones 'back to front' though with the control panel at the front. I have them on really low, my partner doesn't hear them at all. I am about to travel for work and I usually find hotels really annoyingly noisy, but I feel like the SleepPhones will solve those problems too. Poor technical design
Breezy cover is not silky or smooth. Speakers shift out of place when charging the battery. Battery has to be fully removed to charge. Button design is not intuitive, press volume buttons too quickly makes the tracks skip. Very annoying. Product is quite expensive and quality is low.

My daughter loves them
Easy to set up, easy to use and comfortable. My 13yo daughter has trouble falling asleep. I purchased 2 for my parents for Christmas. They have used them every night since and adore them. My father was suffering from lack of sleep and these have damatically improved his quality and length of sleep.
They are amazing. The BEST FEATURE is they have no alert for low battery, they just quietly dim the music until the headband is flat. No loud beeping or alert which is exactly what I hoped for when I purchased them. The worst thing about most Bluetooth headphones is the loud low battery alert which can bring you out of even the deepest of sleeps.

I use/listen to fall sleep - It would be good if the battery/device turns off a period of time after the phone stops playing so that the device doesn't remain on all night until morning. I purchased these as a backup mainly for sleeping with as I have a pair of BOSE noise cancelling earbuds which are my sleeping aid. These is an easy to use headband, easy to charge, easy to pack (take camping). However I do find that the speakers seem to move around in the headband & end up elsewhere but on my ears, they have a reasonable good quality sound (play sleep solutions) these do not cancel out sounds .. especially snoring. Much more comfortable to sleep in than other headphones I have purchased in the past, they are very easy to set up also. Overall not bad. But if you are buying to drown out a partner look elsewhere.

Fantastic
Thought I would give this a try after I had issues with lack of deep sleep. Battery lasts all night, easy to charge and works fantastic. While it doesn't completely block out my partners snoring it distracts from it allowing me to get a good night's sleep. Doesn't move around and I find having the battery around on my forehead is much more comfortable. Would totally recommend.

Half way there...
Absolutely love that i finally have a pair of headphones that dont fall out of my ears every time i move in bed, but- im not in love the sound clarity. Im not sure what i was really expecting seeing as the speakers are obviously covered with the headband, its just that its not as clear as i hoped, (Ive previously used AirPods and Beats By Dre headphones).
With saying all this, if the company was to release a newer version with some sort of updated technology to ensure better sound, I WOULD BUY AGAIN.

Excellent product
I bought these headphones to help drown out severe tinnitus and paired with the right sound app, they are fantastic and work perfectly. I wear them as needed through the day and my 8 month old baby doesn't play with the headband at all. And they're quite comfy to sleep on. I wouldn't say they're unbelievably comfy but they're perfectly fine if I find the sweet spot for my ears and they don't bother me then at all. And as they are not in my ears, enough external noise comes through that I can still hear the baby monitor. The band does slip down my forehead to my eyebrows through the night sometimes but this can't be helped. I am glad I purchased the more breathable material. Added bonus is they also drown out my husband's snoring. I can still hear it a bit, but not enough to keep me awake. An improvement I'd make is an auto off function if no media is being played after a period of time. I set my sound app to play for 45 minutes only to go to sleep but the headphones stay on all night. Uses battery and also means I have electrical equipment and bluetooth signal turned on against my head for longer than necessary.

Pretty good

Pretty great!
I love the SleepPhones. The only problem I have is that sometimes it is difficult to get the headphones themselves in such a position that they are both covering my ears properly. They are a bit tricky to maneuver. But I love that I can sleep on my side with them. Battery life is really great, haven't yet had an incident where they've died on me.

Pretty disappointed
The battery doesn’t last long at all, I find it hard to adjust the speakers exactly over my ears, I don’t bother tucking the battery back into the headband because I need to access it constantly to either unplug to charge or to switch on and off.

Sounds surprisingly good!
I've slept with music or ambient noise for a long time, mostly using stock Apple earbuds. I was considering buying SleepPhones for years, but for the price I wasn't sure that they would be worthwhile. I wasn't expecting very good sound quality or battery life. Finally, I was so frustrated by the discomfort of the earbuds that I decided to go ahead and try the Bluetooth SleepPhones. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I'm impressed! They sound great to me, the battery lasts through the night, and they're pretty comfortable, although not perfect. The Bluetooth receiver is a bit bulky, but surprisingly is a fairly soft and flexible silicone rather than hard plastic as I feared. The most uncomfortable part is the USB-style connector that attaches the receiver/battery to the speakers. I might try repositioning the receiver to the front as some of the other review comments suggest.
I decided to skip the $70 upgrade for induction charging, and I'm happy with that decision. Personally, I don't find it too inconvenient to remove the receiver from the headband to charge. If the wireless charging option cost less, I would have gone for it, but it seems like quite an expensive addition for a minor convenience.
The only other criticism I have is that it doesn't seem to report the charge level back to my iPhone the way my other Bluetooth headphones do, so I can't tell how much battery life they have left. It isn't a huge problem — I usually don't leave them on all night, and I generally charge it when I wake up — but it would be nice to see how much charge they have left if I do forget to charge them before bed. It does do the job and the headband is breathable for hot nights, however you'll have to rearrange the speakers every night as they constantly slip. Not a big deal though. The Bluetooth unit is at the back and a little bulky for my liking. The headband definately slips during the night and the biggest issue is that they are simply way overpriced for what you get. Having said that, they are still a good investment if you like listening to music or podcasts in bed and can afford the exorbitant price

Two months of hellish insomnia with seemingly no way out took a massive turn for the better last night - my first night with no medication and using my new headphones (my husband refers to it as "active wear for bed"). I am sure I have a long way to go yet, but today I feel human so I am STOKED. I had 10 hours of 'rain on a window' teed up to the wireless headphones and not only did it block out any and all noise around me, when I did frequently wake, not being able to hear anything but the white noise helped me convince my overactive mind that it was still nighttime. I have some work to do on perfecting the placement of everything, but it will be worth it. After weeks of using my earbuds this is absolute heaven. I can sleep on my side again....

Wish I'd heard about them sooner
Fantastic, after years of not sleeping well I finally am enjoying sleep. I would keep T.V going in the bedroom till all hours but my partner complained so I'd switch it off and spend many sleepless hours fidgeting ..... now I put the headband on, get my music mix going and settle down...Hubby sleeps undisturbed and so do I. I have a very small head and do find fitting the battery, wires and speakers comfortably takes a bit and I turn the band around so the battery is up by my forehead which works quite well.

Not as good as they claim it to be
I found the sleep phones to be ill fitting as the angle placement needed over the ears, around the forehead and the lower back of the head causes the band to constantly slip never staying in place. When sleeping on my side, as advertised it is comfortable but only for a short while as the speakers begin to dig into your ear and forget about lying on your back because the control console digs into back of the head. Unadvertised in the commercials but thankfully recommended in the manual, the battery can't go too low in power and needs to be charged after every use unless you want the battery to die altogether which is a unwanted bother. One positive is the easy Bluetooth connection but over all very uncomfortable. I called to see about a return and refund but understandably, however very coldly I was told no returns due to hygiene concern. The consultant had no concern or question as to why I might be asking for a refund. I am currently looking at different companies' designs and do not recommend this product.

Construction needs improvement
The overall concept is great, and I find them comfortable enough but they constantly need replacing due to poor construction. The adhesive that keeps the the backing adhered to the wireless receiver is faulty. The backing continues to slip off which leaves sticky residue everywhere. The plastic casing around the speaker wires splits, and with the rogue adhesive getting into the speaker wires it means they are completely un-fixable and need replacing. I am up to my third set now, and I'm not doing anything with them that's outside the scope of intended use, I simply wear them at night as I sleep and I'm not a restless sleeper either..

A life changer!
I have always needed to listen to podcasts or sounds going to sleep, particularly with a partner who often snores. Really great quality sound, quite comfy for side sleeping (ears do become tender sometimes after an extended period of time), and very easy to use. While it doesn’t drown out loud, deep snoring, it does help to muffle the sound.

Amazing!
I love these, even as a side sleeper and the headband is a little big. I make it work! I listen to Audible, which has a sleep timer which I set for 15minutes , so my headphones last more than a week before needing to be recharged. I Like that they don’t block out all sounds, so I can still hear the kids, the dog or the smoke alarm. If hubby is snoring I just reset the audiobook for 15 minutes again. They don’t move off my head at all and the battery at the nape of my neck has never caused me bother. I recommend!

Comfortable Night's Sleep
After using Sleep Headband with wires for some time, decided to upgrade to wireless. Found them to be more convenient, and great for listening to audio books at night( though need to backtrack sometimes as often fall asleep). Took a little while to learn how to quickly remove unit for recharging and replacing. Overall very happy with product, helps with a good night's sleep, and the band itself is very comfortable as long as you sleep on your side.

I find the volume does not go high enough. I listen to ASMR which is often extremely softly spoken/whispering, and the highest volume setting is much lower than my airpods!! Upside: Very comfortably and love them otherwise. :)

Almost There
Impressive technology, the battery lasts through the night and the sound quality is surprisingly good. But I just don’t find these super comfortable as a side-sleeper. They help with a snoring partner but I personally need some kind of in-ear or noise cancelling element. I’ll continue to use them here and there.

Great when they work!
I purchased my first set a couple of years ago. Loved them! I listen to YouTube meditations every night and after years of persistent insomnia, I can now sleep without the need to take meds that make me sleep but also knock me out for most of the day! I can't use normal corded headphonea because a) they are uncomfortable, and b) I already have to deal with a cpap machine, mask and those, so adding in another lead was just a tangled (sometimes strangling!) mess. I have become totally dependent on these... BUT... I am now on my third set - they seem to last about 12 months then just stop working, as in the unit will not charge. This has just happened again on my current one and I am sick of having to replace them so frequently, so will be looking into other options from competitors. Disappointing because they really are comfortable and a great sleep aide, as well as useful in the gym (I dislike the music usually playing at my gym so put these on and play something I do like instead).

Excellent.
I have been struggling with tinnitus for several months now. My bluetooth headband has allowed me to sleep properly throughout the night for the first time in a long time. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is finding tinnitus a problem at night. I purchased the bluetooth version and whilst the sound is good I find the bluetooth device uncomfortable. The headband moves around alot however I will try purchasing a smaller size and see how I go. Breeze band smaller than Fleece
I already own the fleece band version of this in the wired and older wireless model. I thought the Breeze fabric would be great for summer and the older wireless model isn't holding charge anymore. The Breeze fabric is definitely smaller and more snug than the fleece. I went for the same size (OSFM) and it is too uncomfortable to use. I've put the headphones and wireless receiver into my old fleece band and I'm not using the Breeze band.

The greatest thing since sliced bread
I was sceptical of these headphones because of some of the reviews, especially for the price. But they are deadset the greatest things ever. Using them with the headspace meditation app I’m asleep in seconds. I don’t feel them at all. I even pull them down over my eyes and they double of an eye mask. I do find after a restless nights sleep the actual speakers move around slightly in the head band. But it’s minor issue and they are easy enough to fix up. The battery seems to last for ages. (About 2-3 nights) And I have them playing all night long. I’ve been recommending them to everyone! You honestly won’t regret buying them.

Don’t waste your money
Sizing is wrong. I measured my head before purchase and used the online guide but the headband is too big and slips down so you can’t really hear the music as the headphones inside move around as the headband does. Customer service was not helpful at all when I contacted them. Not as comfortable as expected either.

Dont waste your money
These headphones are fairly average. I dont feel the quality is worth the money. The sizing is also wrong.. I measured my head and it was 57cm and the guide on the website says a medium should be 55-59cm so I purchased the Medium but it is too big and moves around and falls down during the night. The battery also cuts out in the early hours of the morning so when the music cuts out it wakes me. May be ok for some people but I would not have bought if I could have tried them first.

Wow way better than expected
I wasn't 100% convinced when I bought these but thought Id give them a go. They turned up with 2 days ( we are in a regional centre it usually takes 4 days for mail to travel from one side of town to the other), were easy to set up and extremely comfortable. Very good sound and comfort. Love the lack of cables.
There is a minor problem with the headband design. Right where the bluetooth control is situated, there is a label (washing instructions) in the way. Also, the velcro closer is bulky and uncomfortable and gets in the way of cables. The speakers move easily and need adjustment every time I wear it. I am concerned about the fragility of the wires every time I take out the BlueTooth control for charging, and because of the low battery life, this is needed every single time I use it. A better charging system and/or longer battery life would be useful. My own home-made spare headband overcomes most of these challenges...

I was so excited to get these that I went straight to the top of the line and bought the effortless model. Unfortunately find them uncomfoartable as I'm a side sleeper so with speakers positioned on or near ears they irritate me and if i move them around as suggested I can barely hear the sound making them pointless for my situation. I have adjusted volume to full on both the item as well as my phone but is barely audible unless placed either directly on or very near ears. I also find the hairband slips off constantly despite using pins to try to hold on. Super disappointed that there is no refund option for these especially as hygiene is the excuse...why not refund minus the cost of the hairband if that's really the concern

A brilliant product
I use these wireless headphones to listen to white noise while I sleep - it masks my husband’s snoring beautifully and now we can share a bed again. I find the battery easily lasts the night and I just charge it up each day. This is my second set - the first set had some charging issues and eventually died this one seems much better. I love them!

Wear and tear
I intended to use this every night, which meant I had to open the velcro cover every day, unplug the headphones to plug the charging cable in. Unfortunately this has caused significant damage after 2 months of usage. If the charging functionality was reviewed it might be value for money. I'll have to see if I can claim it under warranty.

Great idea let down by poor design
The Sleepphones do what they say. The bluetooth model is very good at delivering fuss free sound while you lie in bed. However, the concept is let down by the poor design of the headband - the bluetooth/battery module must be removed frequently for recharging and this is not convenient because it is not very accessible through the very small, velcro lined opening. Fussing around with the plug and wires for the speakers each time is going to cause early failure as well.
At $160 this unit is overpriced (wireless recharging should have been included for this price) and the headband needs to be re-designed to open and close more easily.

Awesome
I’m on to my third pair in 5 years and they just get better and better each time. I use my SleepPhones every night and have developed an association with the feel of the headband and sleep. It now only takes a few minutes to drop off to sleep after putting the headband on whether I am playing music or not. Great service from Sleep Solutions as well.

Died 3 months after warranty expired
I loved these initially, and found them very comfortable. The sound is fine, certainly not noise cancelling, but great to listen to podcasts or music without disturbing your partner. BUT a little over a year and the wireless SleepPhones have stopped working. Apparently this is common. I'm pretty disappointed - I emailed sleep solutions and they merely advised me to buy a replacement module at $110, something that I assume I would need to do on a yearly basis. No thanks.

Great headset
Bought the bluetooth headset with a bit of trepidation as I read a few bad reviews (about it being bulky at the back of your head etc) but I turn it around & have the controller at the front & have no trouble. I am a light sleeper but have had no trouble falling asleep with it. Mostly I listen for 1/2 hour (set the 'hidden' timer on my phone), turn it off with the controller when the phone stops the audio, take it off & then have no trouble falling asleep. As far as I'm concerned - for my application & sleep probs - great gear -- thanks

Love them
I have found these to be really good at listening to my mediation or 'white noise' to assist me to sleep. The actual headphones are flat and not noticeable when sleeping, although the headband does move around, but not a real problem. The only real inconvenience is the charging daily as you need to remove the Bluetooth and plug and then reinsert and sometimes you have to readjust. Otherwise I would recommend these.

Disappointing - not worth the price tag
Unfortunately, I have to give a low review due to this product being VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. The main problem is the bluetooth module digs into the back of my head. The main reason I bought SleepPhones was to wear them to SLEEP. I cannot as they are so uncomfortable. When lying down, trying to sleep with my head on the side, the headphone part is also uncomfortable, pushing into the side of my head.
I looked up the sizing guide before purchasing, which advises if your size falls on a cut off, then the official recommendation is to order the smaller option. I did this, I ordered the Small (previously Extra Small). The website advises this estimate is for Petite Women, which I am, so I thought it should be fine. However I think the headband being such a snug fit makes the module dig into my head even more. I have stretched the headband out somewhat, but, even being a snug fit, it still slips around an awful lot.
I bought this product knowing full well there were no refunds available. The website states this is for hygiene and safety considerations. I can only assume they mean that it is unhygienic to resell the headband after it has been worn. This is reasonable.
However, there really should be a partial refund on offer, once the electronic component is retuned. The electronics that I’ve paid for (the headphones, wires, bluetooth module, USB charging cord etc) should be able to be returned, as most electronics are. This must constitute the bulk of the cost I have paid for, by comparison the headband would not cost much at all. Thus I would very much like the opportunity to return the electronic components and receive a partial refund.
On the upside, I can say that the product arrived quickly (within 2 days of ordering), the sound quality is fine, perhaps not loud enough though, and the Bluetooth pairing was an easy, simple process.
And yet, I am a dissatisfied, unhappy customer. $159.99 is a great deal of money to spend on a product that I cannot use. After reading the reviews, I took the gamble and had great hopes that I’d be happy with this product. Sadly, I am one of the people who have found that this product does not live up to my expectations at all. For those of us that find ourselves in this situation we should have the option on a partial refund.

Love them great product I have used them for quick because I had little bit of headache and I was asleep very happy just got them today and I woke up after my power nap and the headache was very happy customer I sleep on my side and do not hurt. Finally - I can sleep!
I've been a light sleeper for years, any noise, like my wife's snoring, keeps me awake. Since developing Parkinson's it only got worse. I was lucky to get 60-90 mins sleep a night for the last few years, even in another room. Found this and now I'm getting between 6 and 7 hours at a time. Makes a massive difference to how I feel. Bluetooth is the way to go - no leads. Unless you've got a a large diameter head go for the XS size, stays snug all night no matter how much I roll around. Plenty of free sound apps available. For me just a "Brown noise" works perfectly. Very Highly recommended.

After doing shift work over the decades I have always had trouble sleeping. I am now getting deep Rem sleep and dreaming for min 5-6hrs. Getting better quality sleep. Great but not perfect
The idea is fantastic, the speakers and bluetooth unit are small and fairly flat, making it comfortable to sleep in. Like some other users found, however, the band slips around in bed. I use bobby pins to hold it in place, but that doesn't help if you don't have enough hair! Still, I liked it enough to buy one for each of my adult children, who unfortunately inherited sleep habits from me.

Great for ASMR
I listen to ASMR videos every night before bed and these are perfect, they are flat and comfortable, easy to fall asleep with and no cords to choke you. Really great product, works well. Only real criticisms are the battery issues: the battery life is too short (would be nice to last two nights through, not just one), it's a pain sifting out the device to recharge it, and you can't use the product while it's being charged as the speakers share the same outlet as the recharger. So much better than ear buds/phones

I've been relying on earplugs or earphones for years to block out partners snoring. Both were uncomfortable, fall out, cause irritation and worse still getting tangled up in the cord.

As someone who listens to audiobooks to fall asleep, this product is fantastic. I bought the bluetooth version to stop me getting tangled in wires and its comfortable enough to sleep in all night. The sound quality is great. They don't claim to be noise-cancelling and you can still hear ambient noise (depending on how loud you have the volume, I guess).

I heard about this via the 'Sleep With Me' podcast and was a bit skeptical about whether the sound quality would be any good for speakers so small, but it really is great. It's very easy to set up and connect to the phone via Bluetooth, and I don't feel the speakers at all when my head is on the pillow. Only issue is that the one size is bigger that I'd thought, and so the headband is hard to keep in place; I'm going to need to alter it somehow. I wish I'd read this thread first! Agree with the other posters that it's probably better to get a size down if you're at the lower end of the one size measurement.

Blocks out husbands snoring!
Did not really know what I was buying, and I was pleasantly surprised! Very comfy to wear, easy to set up and use, I also bought a set for my husband, he is also happy. Have not dealt with a person, however the email updates were great. Only minor thing is that I ordered the extra small, and it's still a bit big, so some nights they double as an eye mask. ;)

Just what i needed
Very comfy and can get just the right volume, as others have said it could use a timer/auto off function as the batteries wear down rather quickly, but i just plug it into the charger about an hour before bed and its all good.

Persevering
After much research and reading lots of reviews I purchased the Bluetooth Breeze XS SleepPhones. A very easy process with Sleep Solutions and no shipping cost with the Bluetooth is appreciated. The cost of this product probably includes the patent as I have not come across anything else like it. I also purchased a new iPhone 6 for the music. It takes a bit of effort to position the SleepPhones in the correct position for your ears within the headband. Noticed a bit of wiring noise initially but then made sure the R was on the right and the L on the left. Yes, a bit fiddly to position them correctly but no further problems. Experimenting with the Bluetooth device on forehead as suggested at present which makes it easier to adjust the volume. Had a bit of trouble getting the volume low enough but can move the headband off the ears a little to achieve this. Initial instructions for pairing with iPhone quite easy, but took SleepPhones to an Apple Workshop as had never used Bluetooth previously. Apple consultant informed needed to turn on the Bluetooth device on SleepPhones each time. I think Bluetooth with no cords is the only way to go. I don't see how normal earphones and cords could possibly work when you are tossing and turning trying to sleep. The breeze headband in XS is just right for me. I paid attention to all the comments about the fleece being hot and getting the size right. I need to sleep with a ceiling fan on lowest speed all night anyway due to the climate where I live. Getting the right kind of music/spa music/meditation on the iPhone and learning how to loop it to play for an extended period is another experiment. I think sleep phones are a good product and worth the investment however there are many causes of insomnia and you have to be prepared to experiment. There are no guarantees with anything as we are all different. Insomnia is a very frustrating problem. Patience, perseverance and experimentation is what is required.

Overall very good
The sound quality is great, the speakers can be moved to fit your ears. The battery is fairly small, minimal discomfort wearing these all night.
Easy to pair to my phone,and blocked out sounds around me.

Don't block out snoring
I got these hoping to block out my partners snoring, but even if I play 'snore eraser' they don't do much. I also find that as a side sleeper they tend to cut of circulation to my ear that is on the lower side, no matter which pillow I use.

Exactly what I hoped
After Internet research I decided on this product as the best option available for earphones to sleep in. They are not cheap especially for a product that is not returnable but I decided to purchase to listen to audiobooks or relaxation music in bed. I measured my head and at 54 cm was at the top end of the XS. Received them on Thursday (ordered Monday) and size is perfect with some stretch left. If you are at the bottom end of the "One Size" range I would consider the XS for a snug fit. Fabric is soft and silky. Easy to follow instructions- charged battery and paired with phone with no problems. Easy to adjust speaker position. Sound quality is equivalent to standard earphones. Happy I purchased and fast free shipping was a bonus.

I needed headphones to play 'SnoreEraser' to mask my partners snoring but all the ones I had tried hurt my ears, fell out or the cords were unbearable. A headband was what I needed and the bluetooth option stopped me strangling myself while I slept. The material is breathable (so no sweaty ears), comfortable and people who complain about lack of instructions should just ask a kid how bluetooth works.
Thanks for a good product at a price thats worth every cent for a good nights sleep.

I really thought these would be the answer to my prayers for a good night's sleep. However I have not been able to use them at all, which is a big waste of $149.
1. The instructions that came with them are useless. They do not detail how to connect by bluetooth. I had to dig far and wide online to find a set of instructions on how to connect to my phone.
2. The most disappointing part is that they just do not stay on my head. Not even to get to sleep. If I position them such that they won't just slide off my hair, then the speakers are not aligned on my ears. If I position them such that the speakers are over my ears, then the band just slides right off my head, over my face. Maybe the band is too large, although I ordered the 'one size fits most' and I have a large head as evidenced by my hat size. They should provide the ability to purchase different size bands at a reasonable price. The band itself must cost peanuts to make.
Overall I am very disappointed and stung by the price tag. I have not even used them once.

I am happy with my Bluetooth sleepphones. They are comfortable and it is really nice not to be attached to something by a cord. I don't even notice the battery pack as I wear it on my forehead, thanks to the advice of another reviewer. The only thing I find a little frustrating is adjusting the headphones to sit over my ears after taking the battery pack out to charge. A challenge. Otherwise ... so far, so good.

My life has changed, I can finally sleep.
I cannot believe these actually work as well as they do!
I've had unbelievable insomnia for most of my life, so even when I do finally manage to fall asleep, I wake up again within 90 minutes (normal circadian sleep cycle) but then I can't fall back asleep again so I spend the next several hours getting more and more annoyed with the slightest noise or movement from my poor husband or anything else outside. I've tried EVEYTHING over the years to knock myself out with no success, UNTIL NOW.
With the SleepPhones I find I can fall asleep quicker and even though I'm still waking up throughout the night, it's no where near as often as I used to and I almost immediately fall back asleep.
After the first few nights of using, I actually found myself driving to work in a good mood and thought to myself "Huh! this is what it must feel like for a normal person in the morning that has had a good night's sleep!".
Very happy!! Yes they do move a bit, but nothing a tiny adjustment can't fix, and yes you do need to remember to charge them after every use. But overall, they have changed my life and I no longer want to strangle my husband by the morning, so he seems quite happy too. (Posted on )

These work well for me. Sound is great using my white noise app. Fast to charge, and battery lasts a good 12 hours. My only gripe is that they move around on my head too much during the night. I find myself adjusting them quite a bit. I bought the 'one size fits most' size, maybe should have bought the smaller size. I recommend measuring your head before buying! I would recommend these though.

Almost perfect
This is my second sleepPhone with bluetooth. My first one died when the usb connector broke. With some hesitation I bought the latest version and it appears that the bluetooth unit is slightly different - I hope this is sturdier.
I love the sleep phone at night and like others find it very easy to go to sleep with. It is important to ensure you have it positioned well at night as sometimes I wake up in the night to find it has moved slightly away from the ears so can't be heard.
I found the SleepPhones don't annoy my partner except when I use the bluetooth button unit to adjust volume. The clicking sound is audible and sometimes can disturb your partner but once set this is not an issue.
My only regret about the bluetooth unit is that there is no way to skip tracks or go back a track. I would love this as a feature to be added in future.
Charging the unit is not as easy as you would like and involves fishing around in the headband and removing the unit enough to have access to the micro-usb port. Perhaps a pouch situated at the opening that is designed to hope the bluetooth unit snugly with the charging port near the opening would make it easier.
All in all a great concept and the best out there as a wireless solution but there is some room for small improvements. (Posted on )
