Lights

The nightlight function is optional, it has a separate switch to the humidifier on/off switch. You can have it on rotating colours, pick a single colour or have it turned off.

The humidifier on/off switch has a tiny blue light on it, so when turned on you will see a small light from this. You can put something in front of it to block the light if you wish.

Why cool mist?

Cool mist humidifiers do not contain a heating element and are one of the safest for newborns and young children. The ultrasonic vibrations produce fine mist particles that are cool to the touch. Cool mist is also recommended to relieve croup.

How does the ultrasonic humidifier work?

An ultrasonic humidifier works similarly to a stereo speaker while staying whisper quiet. A nebulizer vibrates at an ultrasonic frequency to create a mist that easily dissipates into the air rather than droplets that fall to the ground.

What is the best way to clean my Crane humidifier?

Regular cleaning will keep your humidifier running smoother, for longer. We highly recommend emptying the water tank and basin after each use and disinfecting them at least once a week with water and a few capfuls of white vinegar.

Cleaning and disinfecting on a regular basis is very important for maintaining the performance of your humidifier - NEVER IMMERSE HUMIDIFIER BASE IN WATER

Do not use hot water to fill the tank
Be sure that the Water Tank Cap is firmly tightened on Water Tank
It is advisable to carry filled Water Tank with two hands
A little brush is included for cleaning around the base and nebuliser of the unit

Compact attractive unit

I bought this humidifier for the plants in my kitchen. It is the perfect size and looks attractive on my kitchen benchtop. It pumps out enough moisture, although on hot dry days when I put it up too high, the benchtop gets damp so this would be an issue on some surfaces. This doesn’t happen if I have the ceiling fan on at the same time. The changing lights seem kitch to me, but I put it on a cool white and it looks nicer. All in all does just what I need it to!
