High performance, easy usage and good looks make the new Blue 3410 air purifier a great choice for people who want to breathe clean indoor air.
This purifier combines plug and play simplicity with signature Blueair performance, giving you clean air at the touch of a button. Simply push the one button control and Blue will automatically adjust to give you more clean air with less noise and less energy.
With a tiny footprint and very low noise levels, this makes it ideal to place in small to mid size rooms up to 36m ² (5 air changes per hour according to AHAM).

Filters the air at a rate of about 5x an hour (or about every 12 minutes) in a 36 m² room to effectively remove up to 99.97% 0.1 um particles like dust, pollen, mold and pet dander that can cause and exacerbate allergies.

The one-touch enabled Auto mode is designed to help you maintain a comfortable and safe home environment. When enabled, the setting automatically adjusts fan speed based on real-time conditions reported by the integrated particle sensor. Stay up to date on your air quality with the LED display; it changes color to indicate good, moderate, or polluted.
Three-part filtration
A fabric pre-filter offers the first layer of protection, catching large particles and extending the life of the primary filter. The combination Particle + Carbon Filter uses a layer of activated carbon to filter light household odors from pets, cooking, and smoking, while the main particle filter removes airborne particles, like pollen, dust, pet dander, and more.

It is advisable to change the filter at least every 6 months.
Tip: How do you reset your filter light?
Press the touch button for a duration of 7 seconds to reset the filter replacement timer. This lets the air purifier know that you have changed the filter. The indicator light flashes for 4 seconds, and then changes from red to white.

How should I clean the fabric pre-filter?
Vacuum the exterior of the fabric pre-filter to remove dust as often as you'd like. When the pre-filter requires a deeper clean, it can be wasehd on a gentle, low temperature cycle in the washing machine.
Why is my LED yellow?
The LED indicator will turn yellow after 5 months of operation to warn that it's almost time to change the filter. When the indicator light turns red (one month later), it’s time to change the main filter.
What is the Air Quality Indicator showing?
The integrated particle sensor measures the concentration of fine particles (PM2.5) in your indoor air. The LED air quality indicator (AQI) display uses a three-color scale to represent current PM2.5 concentrations as good (blue), moderate (yellow), or polluted (red).
What to do when indicator light still lit up red upon changing the filter?

A bit iffy…
The purifier is a great size and shape however it is very plasticky to the touch - light weight and you have to really punch the buttons to get them to work.
I’m not convinced it’s making a significant difference to air quality but there’s no way of knowing.
I don’t have anything to compare it to but I wouldn’t buy it again. (Posted on )
